The Tahoe has three different engine options: a 5.3L V8, a 6.2L V8, and a 3.0L Duramax-Turbo Diesel engine. The 5.3L V8 gas engine comes standard on the Tahoe base trim and offers 355 HP at 5600 rpm with 383 lb.-ft. of torque at 4100 rpm. This engine is paired with an electronically controlled 10-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.

The available 6.2L V8 gas engine is also paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission to deliver 420 HP at 5600 rpm and 460 lb.-ft. of torque at 4100 rpm. For the most significant performance, there’s an available 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine that yields 277 HP at 3750 rpm and 460 lb.-ft. of torque at 1500 rpm.

Seating

The Chevrolet Tahoe seats up to eight people in its spacious cabin. The front bucket seats include a 10-way power driver seat with power lumbar and an 8-way power passenger seat. The second row is a manual-folding 60/40 split bench, and the third row is a manual 60/40 split-folding bench that can be folded flat to increase your rear cargo space.

Entertainment

The 2024 Tahoe comes with an 8-inch Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system that offers a variety of entertainment features. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are wireless smartphone integration features that allow you to pair your smartphone to your SUV and experience a more personalized ride. The new Tahoe has built-in Chevy Safety Assist, which uses assistive driving functions to increase your safety on the road. This includes Forward Collision Alert, a tool that alerts you to impending collisions with other vehicles or objects in front of you. Another function in the Chevy Safety Assist package is Following Distance Indicator, which measures the distance between your ​Tahoe and the vehicle in front of you and warns you when that distance begins to rapidly close.
