Meet the 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid: The Future of Fuel Efficiency.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance

The front-wheel drive Kia Carnival Hybrid is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine combined with a 72-horsepower electric motor and a six-speed automatic transmission. The result is a drive-train that produces a combined 242 horsepower. The hybrid also offers different settings for its regenerative braking system, to more efficiently charge the batteries.

The Carnival Hybrid provides a powerful, refined and pleasant drive. This smooth ride features a quiet cabin and secure handling, making the van easy to maneuver. The vehicle's acceleration makes for good passing and merging capability on the highway.

Fuel Efficiency

The Carnival really shines when it comes to fuel efficiency. It boasts an EPA-estimated 34 mpg in the city, 31 mpg on the highway, and 33 mpg combined.

Interior

The 7-to-8-passenger Carnival Hybrid's cabin is spacious, versatile, and accommodating. Its seats are extremely comfortable and there is ample leg and headroom in all three rows. A second-row bench seat comes standard and can be replaced by two lounge-style reclining seats with footrests, making for an even more comfortable ride. Heated seats are available in higher trims, and leather seats are available in the SX Prestige trim.

The Carnival Hybrid has a modern dashboard with a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. The center console offers good cargo space for small items. Large windows make for an open and airy feel in the cabin, which can be supplemented by an optional panoramic sunroof.

Cargo Capacity

The Carnival Hybrid offers lots of flexibility when it comes to cargo space. The third-row seats fold flat into the floor and the second-row bench seat can be removed, turning the vehicle into a true cargo van. Cargo space behind the third-row seats is 40.2 cubic feet. With the third row folded and the second-row seats removed, maximum cargo room is 145.1 cubic feet.

Infotainment and Connectivity

A 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen comes standard, with an option for dual 12.3-inch displays available in higher trims. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, as does SiriusXM satellite radio. USB ports can be found throughout the cabin. A 6-speaker audio system comes standard, and a 12-speaker Bose Premium Audio System is available in the SX Prestige trim.

Safety

The Carnival Hybrid comes standard with blind-spot monitoring, automated emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist. Adaptive cruise control is available.

5 Versatile Features of the 2025 Ford Explorer

The Ford Explorer is a mainstay in the company's SUV line, with its three-row interior making it a go-to option for large families. Designed to be effective in all types of terrain and weather conditions, the 2025 Ford Explorer is packed with features to keep you comfortable and safe. Take a look at the Explorer's most versatile features to see if it's the right car for you. more 5 Versatile Features of the 2025 Ford Explorer 1. Terrain Management System Drivers can access different drive modes on the Ford Explorer to help them cope with the terrain and road conditions. These modes include mud, sand, grass/gravel/snow, and normal mode, for use on regular tarmac roads. The system is simple to activate, with a rotary dial on the central console. It's also instantaneous, meaning you can easily change the settings while on the go. 2. AdvanceTrac AdvanceTrac is the Ford Explorer's electronic stability control system, which will help keep you on the road or trail if you lose traction. It does so by using information from multiple sensors, including steering wheel angles and acceleration, to sense when you're losing control of the vehicle. It will then modify your engine power and selectively apply the brakes to prevent skidding or rolling. 3. Trailer Sway Control Once a trailer starts to sway, it can be very difficult to get things back under control. With the Ford Explorer's Trailer Sway Control feature, the vehicle will automatically manage trailer sway using sensor technology. If the sensors notice swaying, engine power will be reduced and brakes will be applied to individual wheels. 4. Auto Start-Stop Technology To help reduce fuel consumption and emissions, the Ford Explorer will automatically shut off the engine when you come to a stop, such as a red light or in heavy traffic. When you release the brake pedal, the car will start its engines again, and you'll be able to drive off without having to perform any manual changes. 5. Rear View Camera with Backup Assist Grid Lines Backing up your Ford Explorer is easy with the help of the car's rearview camera. When you shift the vehicle into reverse, live images of your rear surroundings will be shown on the interior display screen, so you'll be able to see any obstacles that may impede your path. Backup Assist Grid Lines will also appear on the screen, representing the width of the car and helping you gauge whether you can fit into a space. As capable on uneven terrain as it is with dropping the kids off at school, the new Ford Explorer represents the true meaning of versatility.
